Get ready for the reveal! Takes place 1 or 2 weeks after your session. I'll begin with a slideshow, unveiling your beautiful portraits for the very first time. In the ordering appointment, we'll go through and select your favourites to keep and help you explore the best ways to display these memories.

Where are you located?
Our stunning commercial studio space is located just 30 minutes East of Toronto in historic downtown Bowmanville.
When is the best time to schedule a maternity photoshoot?
The ideal time for a maternity photoshoot is between 28 and 33 weeks when your belly has a beautiful, round shape but you're still comfortable enough for posing.
What should I wear for my maternity photoshoot?
All clients have complimentary use of our extensive client closet featuring over 200 maternity photoshoot dresses from our sister company Sugar Bump Gown Rentals. We also carry an array of bodysuits, silk draping's, jewelry and more.
Can my partner and other family members be included in the maternity shoot?
Absolutely! Including your partner and children as well as other family members is a wonderful way to document the support and love surrounding your pregnancy. We encourage family involvement to make the photos even more special.
How far in advance should I book a pregnancy photoshoot?
It's recommended to book your pregnancy photoshoot early in your second trimester to secure your preferred date and time, we typically book up a couple of months in advance. Contact us to check availability and discuss scheduling.
How can I prepare for a maternity shoot?
Stay hydrated and get plenty of rest in the days leading up to your session. Pamper yourself ahead of your shoot with a manicure and pedicure. We'll provide additional tips during our consultation to ensure you are fully prepared for your photoshoot experience.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my pregnancy photoshoot?
Life happens, and we understand that. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to accommodate rescheduling.
How long will it take to receive the final edited maternity photos?
Within a week of your photoshoot we'll sit down together to select your images. After your selections have been made you can expect to receive your edited maternity photos within two to three weeks after the session. We want to ensure each image is carefully retouched to perfection.
Can I bring specific ideas or inspirations for the maternity photography session?
Absolutely! We welcome your ideas and inspirations. Every session is tailored to each clients unique vision. We tailor the session to your preferences to create personalized and meaningful maternity photos. Ahead of your session we'll meet for your pre-session styling consultation (either in-studio or virtually) which is when we'll discuss the vision and overall esthetic for your maternity photoshoot.
Can I order prints or albums through your studio for the maternity shoot, or do I receive digital files only?
We are a full service studio which means we are with you from start to finish. We help you decide how you would like to display your images and offer a selection of heirloom prints, albums, wall art and other customized ways for you to celebrate and display the images from your maternity photography session. We can discuss your preferences and show you sample products during your consultation.
